06/09/2010 at I'm 37. I know what I missed out on. Soul Train was the Lamest Goddamn Trip in America by the time I was a kid in the 80s. The Soul Train Line of the 80s as utterly uninspiring and not because us kids started to get into hip-hop because hip-hop had come to Soul Train eventually. We just depended more on rap videos and less on Soul Train to get our dance steps. Music videos killed Soul Train. We were less about the disco club and more about the street.

04/09/2010 at @iTzYaBoiiET I'm a Grandma of 8 and I can still dance my children under the table and I'm 62. I went out dancing last Friday and danced for four straight hours. I think most of us (I was 23 when this was shown) can still dance -- and still do dance. Get down Grannies of the world.
