29/07/2010 at Katsuhiro Otomo changed whole Anime and Manga. Can't believe it was made 22 years ago.

26/07/2010 at @Izraphel thats amazing.
23/07/2010 at @Narudude360 Sorry, I forgot to say that was for the Blu Ray release. The original release had over 160,000 cels. Sorry about the mix up. Jesus this movie has an unnerving soundtrack.
23/07/2010 at @Izraphel You want to know how many of those frames are drawn? Shifting between fourty and seventy per second, over 2.7 million cels. How is that for anime?
22/07/2010 at Masterpiece this film
21/07/2010 at @Red1Champloo hell yeah

18/07/2010 at @WasteOfAmmunition One of the most gruesome movies I have ever seen. But I cannot doubt its greatness.
17/07/2010 at This anime movie is unique and still has amazing quality and effects. What amazes me is that they made all the animations by hand...no computers
16/07/2010 at it's the blu ray trailer? THEN UPLOAD IT 720P! btw greatest. movie. ever.
16/07/2010 at @TheDarkEffect KANEDAAAAAAAAA
15/07/2010 at Novels > film (mostly because the novels had SO much in them) but this film is a masterpiece.
12/07/2010 at spicy hot lamby nipple chops with minty pickled sour sauce, giraffe burgers and bacon flavored baby rape
12/07/2010 at TETSUOOOOO
10/07/2010 at The picture quality on the Bluray is unbelievable. it would be a perfect presentation of this masterpiece but for one MAJOR flub.....and I mean MAJOR.......they screwed up the beautiful Japanese HD master audio track by mixing up the music....this really affects one of the most touching scenes in the film when Kaneda is thinking back to when he first met Tetsuo.....it's the wrong music in the background....very disappointing.
08/07/2010 at This film is was such a total mindfuck on the first viewing. I couldn't get to sleep that night, just thinking about all the questions it presented.
06/07/2010 at @MetalPower86 You need to check teh aspect ratio of the TV and the DVD. I'm assuming you're TV is widescreen. If the DVD says widescreen (16:9, 1:1.85, or higher), then you'll have bars on the top and bottom. And it will look good. If it says fullscreen (or 4:3), then you'll have you're movie in a black box. And it will not look good. Get the right DVD and it'll be fine. The intended aspect ratio can be found on IMDB or Wiki, the ratio of your copy can be found on the case.
